Angelenos Get Free Healthcare April 25 and 26 At Shrine Auditorium

In a powerful show of community resilience and compassion, California CareForce, in collaboration with Goldenvoice and with generous support from a grant by the American Red Cross, will host a free two-day healthcare clinic on April 25th and 26th at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium. The event will provide vital dental, vision, and medical services to individuals and families impacted by the recent devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

All services are offered completely free of charge, with no requirements for insurance, employment, income, residency, immigration status, or identification.

“This clinic is about eliminating barriers to healthcare,” said Cyndi Ankiewicz, Executive Director of California CareForce. “With the support of our sponsors and volunteers, we are coming together to bring hope and healing to those who need it most.”

More than 90 volunteer healthcare professionals and general volunteers from across California will participate in this humanitarian effort, aiming to provide the following care to hundreds of fire victims:

  • Vision Services: Free eye exams and prescription eyeglasses crafted on-site by a mobile vision lab
  • Dental Services: Replacement of removable hardware such as night guards, dentures, and retainers.
  • Medical Services: General health evaluations, wellness consultations, and acupuncture treatments

“Recovery from a disaster of this size can be slow, but health issues cannot wait. That is why we’re proud to be partnering with California Care Force to provide free medical services to those affected by the fires,” Amanda Ree, director of wildfire long-term recovery programs for the American Red Cross. “Together, these individuals and the community at large, can continue to heal.”

This year’s clinic is made possible thanks to Goldenvoice, the presenting sponsor, whose substantial contribution has made this recovery event a reality, and to the American Red Cross, whose ongoing commitment to humanitarian relief continues to uplift communities in crisis.

Patients will be directed based on the service needed upon entry. For a full list of services, safety protocols, and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.californiacareforce.org or call 916-749-4170. For information in Spanish, please call 760-289-5404.
