Today, the annual Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs) announced three-time Oscar® nominee and Golden Globe winner Dyan Cannon as this year’s Timeless Beauty Award honoree.
Galderma serves as the presenting sponsor for the 2025 Timeless Beauty Award. Founded by Michele Elyzabeth, the HBAs will celebrate a decade of honoring the architects of beauty on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Avalon Hollywood, a black-tie dinner ceremony benefitting Helen Woodward Animal Center.
The HBAs recognize talent in hair, makeup, photography and styling for Film, TV, Music, the red carpet and editorial, as well as special honorees.
Former Timeless Beauty honorees include Barbara Eden, Melanie Griffith, Linda Gray, Jane Seymour, Marie Osmond, Morgan Fairchild, Ann-Margret, Andie MacDowell and Ming-Na Wen.
The first woman in Academy history to be nominated for Oscars both as an actress and as a filmmaker — Dyan Cannon has done it all. Award-winning actress, director, screenwriter, editor, and producer — her talent knows no bounds.
Her Oscar journey began in 1970 with Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, earning her a nomination and a New York Film Critics Award. She then made history again with her second Oscar nomination — this time for Number One, a film she wrote, directed, produced, edited, and scored! In 1979, she won a Golden Globe, a People’s Choice Award, and another New York Film Critics Award for her scene-stealing performance in Heaven Can Wait.
Dyan lit up the silver screen with unforgettable performances in Return of the Pink Panther — which earned her NATO’s Female Star of the Year — along with Eight Heads in a Duffle Bag, The Rise and Fall of Legs Diamond, Such Good Friends, Honeysuckle Rose, Deathtrap, Caddyshack II, Out to Sea, and Beverly Hills Family Robinson. She also shined on the small screen in Ally McBeal, Three Sisters, and The Practice.
In 2011, she gave the world an inside look at her life with Cary Grant in her memoir Dear Cary, which became a New York Times and Los Angeles Times bestseller for years. The story found new life in Archie, a 2023 BritBox and Amazon miniseries, where Dyan serves as an executive producer.
Beyond Hollywood, she’s spent over 35 years supporting Children of the Night and the past seven years helping recovering addicts. A legend on screen and a champion behind the scenes — Dyan Cannon continues to inspire.
Ms. Cannon will accept The Timeless Beauty Award, presented by GALDERMA at the black-tie ceremony on Sunday, April 6, 2025 benefitting Helen Woodward Animal Center.
