Cori Broadus To Be Honored For CHOC At Hollywood Beauty Awards

choc

Today, the annual Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs) announced the 2025 Breakthrough Award honoree: Cori Broadus for CHOC, also known as CHOC Factory.

The HBAs will celebrate a decade of honoring the architects of beauty on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Avalon Hollywood, a black-tie dinner ceremony benefitting Helen Woodward Animal Center

The HBAs recognize talent in hair, makeup, photography and styling for Film, TV, Music, the red carpet and editorial, as well as special honorees.

Former Breakthrough Award honorees include Danielle Lauder for Estée Lauder’s Act IV and Simin Hashemizadeh for Forbelle.

Founded by rare disease warrior Cori Broadus, daughter of cultural icon Snoop Dogg, CHOC is an empowering self-care brand and lip care collection redefining beauty through authenticity, self-love, and inclusivity. Inspired by Cori’s personal journey, CHOC challenges outdated standards with a clean, vegan, cruelty-free collection designed for all skin tones.  Cori founded CHOC alongside Wayne Deuce.

The current collection includes: Lip Gloss, Lip Pencil, Lip Scrub and a Lip Mask.

Diagnosed with lupus at just six years old, Cori faced a childhood marked by medications, joint pain, and fatigue. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke, a life-threatening complication of lupus. Hospitalized for a week, she experienced severe kidney issues and the worst lupus flare-up of her life. Now, Cori is prioritizing her health—turning her challenges into a journey of self-care and resilience.

Later this year, The CHOC Foundation will launch to support self-love, mental wellness, and families facing financial and health challenges.

Snoop Dogg will present The Breakthrough Award to Cori Broadus for CHOC at the black-tie ceremony on Sunday, April 6, 2025 benefitting Helen Woodward Animal Center
