Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected, and her death is believed to be from natural causes, according to ABC News.

Born on October 11, 1985, in New York City, Trachtenberg embarked on her acting journey at a tender age. She began appearing in commercials at just three years old and secured regular television roles by the age of ten. Her breakthrough came with the titular role in the 1996 film “Harriet the Spy,” which showcased her talent and endeared her to a young audience.

Trachtenberg’s television career flourished with her portrayal of Dawn Summers, the younger sister to the protagonist in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” from 2000 to 2003. This role solidified her status in the fantasy genre and expanded her fan base. She further captivated audiences with her recurring role as Georgina Sparks in the popular series “Gossip Girl,” bringing complexity and intrigue to the show’s dynamic ensemble.
