Mayor Karen Bass released the following information regarding access to the Palisades.
Access to the Palisades will remain restricted to residents and authorized personnel only. Checkpoints will be in place – access passes will be required. Law enforcement and the National Guard will be deployed to keep the Palisades safe.
The location to obtain access passes for residents and authorized contractors in the Palisades will move to the parking structure of the Disaster Recovery Center in Westwood, 10850 Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Passes can be obtained daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Starting at 8:00 AM Monday, all of PCH will be open; between McClure Tunnel and Carbon Beach Terrace, only one lane in each direction will be open, with a reduced speed limit of 25 MPH. Expect heavy congestion – this is an active construction zone with flashing red signals. There is no parking.
The Red Cross will be stationed at the Pacific Palisades Recreation Center tomorrow, Monday between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM to distribute PPE to residents.
