Palisades Fire Evacuation Orders Expand – There is an immediate evacuation order for the following area: Sunset Blvd North to Encino Reservoir, From the 405 Freeway West to Mandeville Canyon. Firefighters will work around the clock to suppress this fire.

Curfew Effective Tonight In Fires – In accordance with LA County, the City has a curfew in effect for the evacuation areas from 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Stay out of these areas so first responders can focus on emergency response.

Emergency Resource Center To Open – A new emergency resource center is being stood up to convene resources for impacted families and residents.

Hurst Fire Evacuation Orders Lifted, Fire 70% Contained – First responders are actively responding to this fire, utilizing all available resources.
Angelenos should be advised that red flag warnings continue. Please stay prepared and stay vigilant. The City will continue providing regular updates and additional information.
Palisades Fire

LAFD has hundreds of firefighters on scene and deployed resources including heavy duty trucks and equipment.

This fire remains an active emergency, having spread more than 19,978 acres with 6% containment. There still remains a potential to threaten life and property.

LAFD continues to make clear: there is no call for volunteer or non-sworn firefighters. We thank you for your support.

The Kenneth Fire in West Hills is 50% contained according to CalFire and is affecting 1,052 acres.
