Living in Los Angeles, it’s not difficult to find vegan/dairy-free/gluten free cuisine. What’s not easy to find is delicious vegan desserts and pastries.
Thanks to Master Pastry Chef Romuald Guiot, the search is over for quality vegan pastries. Romuald, aka Romy has opened ID Eclair in Pasadena, California, the first authentic French patisserie that is all-vegan.
From croissants to pain au chocolat, fruit tarts to eclairs, Romy has perfected his recipes over the years. With an impressive culinary background, Romy was also a finalist on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship.
The pastry shop is located on the corner of a tree-lined street just a couple of blocks from the shopping hustle of Colorado Blvd.
With a handful of cafe tables, Romy will also open La Cave, an intimate wine bar with select savory vegan dishes.
Customers can enjoy a view directly into the kitchen where Romy bakes and creates. They offer coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and special teas in a classic tea pot.
Bagels, French baguettes and avocado toast are also on the menu, along with fresh salads.
