Veterans Day Deals And Free Food For Military And Vets

Monday, November 11, 2024 is Veterans Day. Restaurants, fast-food chains, retail stores and more across the country will roll-out special deals, free items and more for active-duty military members and veterans.

Free French Fries

This Veterans Day, Charleys Cheesesteaks is giving back to those who have given so much for our country by offering a special token of gratitude — a free regular-sized Gourmet Fry for active-duty military members and veterans. Make sure you have your military ID or proof of service required, no purchase necessary. In-store only at Charleys Cheesesteaks domestic locations (excluding AAFES locations).
Adopt An Animal
Starting this Friday and continuing through Veterans Day on Monday, Military families in San Diego are invited to meet some fuzzy recruits at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Thanks to the generosity of Animals for Armed Forces Foundation, the Center is offering sponsored pet adoptions to thank military members and their families for their service. Adoption fees will be covered from Friday, November 8th through Monday, November 11th, for approved adopters while supplies last. (Pay only a $36 microchip fee.)  Limit one animal per household for sponsored adoption. Family must meet adoption requirements. https://animalcenter.org/
Free Meal from Applebee’s

Applebee’s is offering veterans and active-duty military a free meal from a specific menu on Veterans Day. A valid military ID or proof of service is required. Veterans also receive a $5 card to redeem for a meal to use within three weeks. Menu items include:

  • 6-ounce top sirloin
  • Classic bacon cheeseburger
  • Chicken tenders platters
  • Double crunch shrimp
  • Fiesta Lime chicken
  • Oriental chicken salad and three-cheese chicken penne

BIBIBOP Asian Grill Bowl

BIBIBOP Asian Grill is offering a complimentary bowl to all veterans and active-duty military personnel. The offer is in-store only. A valid military ID is required.

Free Dessert At BJ’s

BJ’s Restaurant is offering a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie for current and former military members with valid proof of service. Dine-in only. Additionally, a free appetizer coupon will be issued for their next visit.

Free Donuts

Every year, Dunkin’ offers all active and retired military a free donut on Veterans Day. Check your local Dunkin’ Donuts!

Popcorn For A Cause

To celebrate the nation’s protectors, Regal will donate $1 for each popcorn sold on November 11 to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Regal in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation is also offering complimentary tickets to retired and active U.S. armed service members to attend two contemporary military film screenings on Veterans Day.
