Guests enjoyed the serene zen gardens setting event hosted for Mark Gonzalez who is running for election to the California State Assembly to represent District 54.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass attended in support and was greeted by Mark and host, Chaz Dean.
Mark was the Chair of the LA County Democratic Party, Mark organized support for laws to make community college free, protect our air and water, make housing more affordable, and combat the homelessness crisis.
In 2022, he helped lead the fight to pass a constitutional amendment in California protecting a woman’s right to access safe, legal abortion care. In 2023, he worked to pass a new law ensuring that all healthcare workers receive a minimum wage of $25/hour.
It’s been a big week for Chaz Dean as he was honored at the 6th Daytime Beauty Awards with the Inventor’s Award for the creation of his WEN Brush Dryer Styling Tool.
Just this past Monday, Holly Robinson Peete presented the award to Chaz at the Autry Museum of the American West.
