Anne Hathaway’s “The Idea of You” Closes Out SXSW

THE IDEA OF YOU was the closing night screening at SXSW and is Streaming Globally on Prime Video May 2.

In attendance was Director/Producer/Co-Writer Michael Showalter, star and producer Anne Hathaway, stars Nicholas Galitzine, Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, Raymond Cham Jr., Meg Millidge, music supervisor Savan Kotecha, producers Cathy Schulman, Jordana Mollick, and Gabrielle Union.

Following the screening’s rapturous applause, guests were treated to an after-party at Estelle’s lounge where they enjoyed participating in an August Moon themed music video and designing their very own vinyl records.

Ahead of its debut as the closing night film at SXSW, it was announced that The Idea of You has become the most-watched trailer of any original Amazon streaming feature film, with more than 125 million views (based on one-week global video views figures across social platforms).
