Armani beauty introduces GEN A, a collective of a new generation of international actresses and actors, including Maude Apatow, Camila Mendes, Isabela Merced, Lili Reinhart, Jonathan Daviss, Michael Evans Behling, Lukas Gage and Chase Stokes.
GEN A will be a new energetic voice for Armani beauty, engaging a new generation of mindful beauty enthusiasts who believe in individuality, simplicity, and authenticity. Each GEN A member has their own genuine story of how they discovered Armani beauty. Some were first introduced to the iconic Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation by their makeup artist, like Camila Mendez: “I’ve been using Luminous Silk since my makeup artist introduced it to me on set.
There’s no better foundation, and I love its buildable coverage”. Others connected with Armani as their first designer fragrance experience, like Jonathan Daviss: “If I told my 16-year-old self, who bought Acqua di Giò as his first fragrance for himself that I was a part of an Armani collective, I don’t think he’d believe it!” Each GEN A member will invite their communities to follow them through their Armani beauty’s experiences, including their attendance to the Venice Film Festival, where Armani is main beauty sponsor for the 6th year and to Armani fashion shows. GEN A will also join forces to raise awareness about water scarcity and Armani’s Acqua for Life, the brand longstanding initiative that aims to bring clean water to people in water scarce region.
GEN A is a natural extension of the longstanding relationship the brand has with the world of filmmaking and comes as a celebration of Giorgio Armani’s life-long love of the cinema. Over the years, the designer has created the costumes for a range of movies, from, most famously, American Gigolo in 1980, creating a wardrobe for Richard Gere, to The Untouchables, Gattaca, Stealing Beauty, Shaft, the Batman series, The Tuxedo, De-Lovely, Fair Game, The Social Network, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Hanna, A Most Violent Year, and The Wolf of Wall Street, to name a few.
GEN A collective joins Armani beauty ambassadors and faces in celebrating cinema; actresses Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Sydney Sweeney, Zhong Chuxi, Adria Arjona, Alice Pagani, and Greta Ferro; actors Regé-Jean Page, Jackson Yee, and Nicholas Hoult; singer Hanni; and models Barbara Palvin and Madisin Rian.
