New Music Friday: Featuring – Chris Brown, With; The Revelries, i.O. Underground, Cody Jasper, Louis The Child, Oakrest and more

Hot on the heels of releasing his next album, global superstar Chris Brown drops his “WE (Warm Embrace)” video starring himself alongside hitmaker Normani. Directed by Arrad, the visual leads with a sneak peak snippet of Brown’s track “Sleep At Night.”

The Revelries are excited to share “Dizzy,” a buoyant and danceable new song in a string of anthemic pop-rock guitar-driven song. The band is the brainchild of the 24-year-old Monroe, Louisiana-bred vocalist/guitarist, Beau Bailey, started in his dorm room during the fall of 2016 at Louisiana State University.

Independent rock trio i.O. Underground has released their new single “Once In A Lifetime.” The band erase restrictions and embrace creative freedom in its purest form. The three-piece – Grayson (lead vocals, guitar, bass), Casey Kannenberg (guitar, keys, bass, vocals) and Beau Harding (drums, vocals) – present a multi-dimensional signature style layered with future-facing alternative experimentation.

Cody Jasper releases a new song “Who You Are,as he sings about an enduring universal theme, unconditional love. “Who You Are” is a fun rock ballad about unconditional love. I’m saying ‘I just love you for who you are’- behind all the glitz and the glam, the struggles and the strides.

Chicago-bred production duo, Louis The Child, release the official music video for their track, “Talk” (with Royal The Serpent), which is included on their recently released “To Believe” EP. The music video is another heaping dose of visual eye candy, directed by Russell Tandy.

Toronto based pop-rock band Oakrest releases their debut album “Summer Sun,” in July, with their first single, “Olivia.” The song tells the story of carrying around an all-consuming crush and the adrenaline rush that comes with the thought of putting it into words.

The newly formed duo uniting Scooter Brown and Donnie ReisWar Hippies, released a new music video to accompany their debut single, “Killin’ It.” Featuring an all-too-familiar story of triumph and defeat in the music business, this song and video showcase the duo’s incredible musicianship.
