The 7th annual Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs), founded by CEO Michele Elyzabeth, took place on Saturday, March 19 at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. The HBAs honor the architects of beauty, recognizing talent in hair, makeup, photography and styling for film, TV, music, the red carpet and editorial.
MAC Cosmetics with this year’s special honoree for Product of the Year. Actor and star singer, Troye Sivan presented to Drew Elliott, who received the award on behalf of MAC.
Drew Elliott, SVP, Global Creative Director leads all strategy, conceptualization and execution of the creative process that drives the global image for M·A·C Cosmetics including retail, digital, packaging, visual merchandising and multiplatform experiences.
Drew was the brainchild behind Challenge Accepted, starring Cher and Saweetie, and the brand’s latest success: MACstack.
Other award highlights include: Lizzo made a surprise appearance for Makeup winner Alexx Mayo, Laura Dern presented to longtime film hairstylist Frida Aradottir, Henry Golding announced the winner of the premiere Groomer of the Year award and presented to friend, Melissa DeZarate.
