Stylist Alana Van Deraa and Makeup Artist Kristine Studden were nominated at the 7th annual Hollywood Beauty Awards, which celebrates the architects of beauty. Friend and client, Chrissy Teigen attended in support of their nomination; walking the red carpet with her girls.
Alana Van Deraa made the move from Arizona to Los Angeles to pursue styling. Becoming the first assistant to Johnny Wujek, she continued to learn the ropes from Monica Rose before setting out on her own. Having worked on styling for Katy Perry, Kate Mara, Bella Thorne, Kate Hudson, Shay Mitchell, Sarah Paulson, Shakira and Ariana Grande , Alana works regularly with Chrissy Teigen; with looks seen in People Magazine, Vogue, commercial campaigns and on the red carpet for the Tony Awards, Unicef gala and more.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kristine Studden pursued her passion for makeup, studying at MakeUp Designory. Working for MAC Cosmetics, she learned her craft under the mentorship of Mary Phillips before becoming a celebrity makeup artist herself. With looks seen on the covers of People Magazine, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Wonderderland, InStyle and Vogue, Kristine creates makeup looks for Chrissy Teigen for red carpet events, editorial spreads, covers and campaigns. From Hailee Steinfeld to Alessandra Ambrosio and Sofia Richie, Kristine also works with Jenna Dewan, Diane Guererro, Inanna Sarkis and Dorit Kemsley.
