Talk about making a unique and wonderful fashion statement… Jen Aslin, AuD of Audiologist and Deafmetal USA Partner, launched an accessories brand in collaboration with a Finnish fashion designer who lost her own hearing.
Back in February 2021, they launched www.deafmetalusa.com which offers various jewelry innovations that connect via a silicone holster to a person's hearing device.
They call the accessories "Deafmetals."
Their goal is to spread the word and make this fashion statement a mainstream the idea so that hearing loss can be celebrated with style much like those who express themselves with unique eyeglasses who have vision loss.
