Orange County Reopens Movie Theaters In Stage 2

Orange County is reopening slowly but surely…

Churches, restaurants, movie theaters and gyms can resume limited indoor operations due to the county's second tier reopening plans.

Businesses already open include auto part stores, grocery stores, department stores, mechanics, sporting good stores and more.

Less than 100 people or 25 percent of the building’s capacity — whichever number is fewer — can be in a restaurant, church or movie theater at one time.

Gyms will have to limit the number of people inside to 10 percent of the building’s capacity and libraries can open at 50 percent of the building’s capacity. Meanwhile, bars continue to remain closed, according to state guidelines.

Should the virus numbers continue to go down all schools can reopen their classrooms beginning Sept. 22.
