Tune In: ‘Modern Love’ Will Make You Smile

'Top 10 Ways To Keep Upbeat''How To See The Light''Death Toll Hits An All Time High'... these headlines and new DIY tips have become the norm over the past month. With most of the world in COVID-19 quarantine, Shelter-In-Place orders have driven many to temporary depression. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, especially with the unemployment rate rising by the hour.

But, isn't that what TV is for? Entertainment has forever been known as the great distraction from reality. We can put our everyday lives (or no life) aside, forget the bad news and sink into a show.

Ladies and gentlemen, I prescribe: MODERN LOVE, Amazon Prime Video's romantic anthology series. Watch it, binge it, view it one episode at-a-time; you will not be sorry.

If Woody Allen, Nora Ephron, Rob Reiner and Nancy Meyers' romantic comedy scripts had a baby: it's MODERN LOVE.

Each episode follows a story about love, whether it be romantic, familial or just friendship. They even tackle issues of mental health. Inspired by the popular The New York Times column of the same name, MODERN LOVE explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as each standalone episode brings some of the column’s most beloved stories to life with a stellar cast.

John Carney (Once, Sing Street) is the series' writer, director and executive producer. With two seasons under its belt, the first round stars everyone from Sofia Boutella to Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, Tina Fey, Catherine Kenner, John Slattery and many more.

Not only is the soundtrack stellar, but the performances are heartwarming and the chemistry is palable. Sometimes, you even feel as if you're watching a play.

Take a full dose of 'MODERN LOVE' and you will surely smile.
