Questlove has put a new spin on DJing during these times with livestreamed sessions while sheltered in place.
Tonight, he partners with Amazon Prime Video to celebrate the premiere of their new show “Making the Cut” with a virtual DJ set after party on his Instagram Live and on The Roots YouTube channel at 7PM PST. “Making the Cut” and Questlove have pledged to donate over half a million dollars to The World Health Organization and the Food Education Fund’s Food Hub NYC. Tune into the session tonight on @questlove Instagram Live, as well as The Roots YouTube channel.

As the DJing culture shifts, Questlove continues to bring the beat to his fans. Since he started his daily sessions last Sunday, he has been DJing every day this week – spinning slow jams to help sooth people’s souls. This weekend, he plans to ramp up the jams for everyone to bring the party to their home. Each session has a charitable component where donations will be made to The Food Hub NYC.
