In November of last year, we spoke with the wonder women behind Rut Camp in Long Beach, California. Co-founders Timmie Brann and Alisha Lopez created an OCR training ground for weekend warriors and obstacle course racing enthusiasts. Just this week, Timmie and Alisha announced that they will be taking their fitness training and athletic efforts in different directions and saying farewell to the Rut Camp location.
Lucky for the Rut Camp community and athletes who have followed Timmie and Alisha's training plans, Alisha continues to run No Limits Sports and Fitness Academy and Timmie has just announced what her new path will be: HYBRID HOUSE.
Launching on September 1st, 2019, Hybrid House will be a fun gym where everyone is welcome, according to the website's statement. It is a one-stop shop where you can level-up your fitness.
"We pride ourselves in helping you live your best life. Our creative and purposeful programming will leave you walking away feeling empowered and wanting more," the site says.
Hybrid means you can expect a bit of everything, Functional Fitness, OCR, Metcons, Boot Camp, and something special they like to call, The Wheel. A location will be announced soon.
Timmie just took home 3rd place at Spartan Stadion race this past weekend at Anaheim Angel's Stadium.
