One in three veterans and one out of every four Americans is living with arthritis — that's more than breast cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's and autism combined. It's the number one cause of disability and a growing health crisis affecting more than 54 million adults and 300,000 children.

The Arthritis Foundation is leading the fight to conquer everyday battles against this debilitating disease through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science, and community connections.

The 2019 Walk to Cure Arthritis will honor 10-year-old Jake Pevsner, former Navy SEAL Jason Cabell, and Rheumatologist Dr. Christine Lee. Jake represents the thousands of children who suffer from the over 100 types of arthritic conditions. Cabell represents the one-in-three veterans with arthritis. Medical honoree Christine Lee, MD, MPH, specializes in rheumatology, working with Dr. Daniel J. Wallace and affiliate with Attune Health in Beverly Hills.
