Marc Jacobs Beauty makeup artists, D'Andre Michael and Hung Vanngo give us the 411 on how to get the look and the products they used.

D'Andre Michael designed makeup for Mary J. Blige, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture.

"We went with a classic and elegant makeup look for the Golden Globes red carpet," D'Andre Michael said.

Makeup Tips/Techniques: Michael began Blige's makeup look with Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer and then applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate in a mixture of Cocoa Light 82 and Cocoa Deep 86.

For the eyes, Michael started with Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Glambition and used the shade "Over The Top" from the palette on Blige's entire eyelid, "Glamour" from the lash to crease, and "Infamous" along the brow bone. Next, he applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer 42 along the bottom of the eyelid and smudged the shade "Glamour" from the Glambition palette along her bottom lashes. Michael finished with a few coats of Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara to her lashes.

For the cheeks, Michael used Marc Jacobs Beauty Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in 506 Flesh & Fantasy, an ivory shimmer/bronze duo.

To complete Blige's look, Michael applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Slow Burn 246, a creamy nude rose shade, to her lips with a swipe on top of Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in 344 Skin Deep, an opaque taupe-mauve shade.

As for model/actress, Emily Ratajkowski, Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador Hung Vanngo said he went for a "somewhat graphic red smokey eye for Emily’s makeup look."

Makeup Tips/Techniques: After prepping with skincare, Hung applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer to Emily’s skin. Next, he used a mixture of Marc Jacobs Beauty Genius Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation in Golden Deep 46 and a pump of Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter for an all-over glow. Hung followed with Marc Jacobs Beauty Remedy Concealer Pen in 4 Late Show to brighten the center of the face. He set Emily’s foundation with Marc Jacobs Beauty Perfection Powder – Featherweight Foundation in Golden Fawn 400 and added Marc Jacobs Beauty O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan in Tantric along her cheekbones, forehead and jawline for warmth and definition.

“The eye makeup is where we had some fun,” said Hung Vanngo.

He started by lining Emily’s entire waterlines and upper and lower lash lines with Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Fine(wine) 47, a suede red shade, extending past the outer corner of the eye. Hung then used Marc Jacobs Beauty The Smudge Brush to smudge the lines.

Next, he used Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Scandalust and mixed the shades “They Call Her” and “Scandalous” from the palette to create a rich red shade and then applied the shadows on her entire crease and lower lash lines, extending outward and upward. He then used the shade “That’s Why” from the same palette to blend the edges. Lastly, Hung applied two generous coats of Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascaraon Emily’s top and bottom lashes.

Since Emily’s brows never need much, Hung added just a few strokes of Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil in Medium Brown 6 where needed and brushed them into place with Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Tamer Grooming Gel.

For the lips, Hung filled in Emily’s entire lips with Marc Jacobs Beauty New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in Eat Cake 150, a rosy nude shade.

He tied the look together with a light pop of Marc Jacobs Beauty Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in 520 Lines & Last Night, a creamsicle/deep tangerine duo, and set Emily’s makeup with Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(cover) Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist

To complete Emily’s red carpet look, Hung made sure the body was glowing as well. He applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator to add a beautiful soft golden sheen to any exposed skin.

et voila!
