Although she did not take home an Oscar last night, Charlize Theron won the red carpet. The 2004 Academy Award winner for Best Actress sported flawless makeup thanks to Francesca Tolot for Dior Beauty.
"The inspiration was classic Hollywood glamour but we wanted to keep it very modern and fresh at the same time with a focus on illuminating the eyes," said Tolot.

Step One
- I began with prepping the skin with Dior Dreamskin Advanced Perfect Skin Creator. Using a foundation brush, I applied the Diorskin Forever Fluid Foundation. I love this foundation because it gives everlasting wear. I then used Diorblush Sculpt in Brown Contour. This creates great dimension around the face and adds just the right amount of highlight at the cheekbones. I then blended Diorblush in Cocktail Peach on the apples of the cheeks.
Step Two

I lined the eyes using Diorshow Khol Eye Stick in Smoky Black very close to eyelashes blending it upwards, making it fade completely into the skin. I highlighted the eyes with Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow in Fever, applying this color closer to eyes and then using Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow in Minimalism blending it all over the eyelids.
Step Three
- I then applied a double coat of Diorshow Mascara in Pro Black. For the brows, I used the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal and then used the clear Diorshow Brow Styler Gel to keep them in place.
Step Four
- Finally, for the lips, I used the new Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in LA Pink, applying it with my finger, massaging it into the lip in order to keep the look fresh and modern.
