Stand Up 2 Cancer Event Draw The Stars For A Cause

Stand Up 2 Cancer1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Stand Up 2 Cancer wants to change that. With incredible celebrity support, every year SU2C hosts a televised event for the country to help raise money for research in the fight to end cancer.

On Friday night, the telecastbroadcast live from The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, along with American Forces Network, ASPiRE, AUDIENCE Network, Bloomberg TV, Bravo, Comedy Central, Discovery Life, E! Entertainment, EPIX, ESPNEWS, FM, FS2, Fusion, FXM, Great American Country, HBO, HLN, ION Television, LMN, Logo, MLB Network, National Geographic, Pivot, RLTV, SHOWTIME, Smithsonian Channel, STARZ, STARZ ENCORE, TBS, Tr3s, VH1 and WGN America donated one hour of simultaneous commercial-free primetime for the telecast.

If you missed it, the entire telecast will also become available to stream on Hulu beginning Saturday, Sept. 10.

Stars included:  Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Chris Evans, Kevin Hart, Will Arnett, Lena Dunham, Kathy Bates, Eva Longoria, Shannen Doherty, Jordana Brewster, Karla Souza, Odette Annable, Brenda Song, Robert Patrick, Jillian Michaels, Jacob Soboroff, Klay Thompson, Trayce Thompson, Social Media personalities Amanda de Cadenet, Brandon Armstrong, Grace Helbig, Joey Graceffa, Justine Ezarik, Harry Hudson, Brittani Louise Taylor, My Nguyen, Andrea Russett, Gemma Stafford and a musical performance by Alessia Cara, Charlie Puth and Gallant were added to the Stand Up To Cancer telecast on Friday evening.

They joined the already announced list including Executive Producer Bradley Cooper, Alison Sweeney, Anna Kendrick, Ben Affleck, Bree Turner, Brittany Daniel, Charlie Wilson, Danielle Campbell, Dave Franco, Ed Helms, Emma Stone, Eric Stonestreet, Greg Grunberg, Jon Hamm, Josh Gad, Ken Jeong, Kristen Wiig, Marcia Cross, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey, Mel B, Niecy Nash, Rob Riggle, Sonequa Martin-Green, Terry Crews, Tony Hale, Viola Davis, Zach Galifianakis, SU2C co-founder Katie Couric, with special musical performances by recording artists Celine Dion and Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town who performed David Bowie's "Heroes."
