According to Rentrak, Universal Pictures had a banner weekend at the global box office over Labor Day with ‘Straight Outta Compton‘ topping the worldwide chart with $16.75 million and on top of that, ‘Minions‘ crossed the $1 billion mark globally as ‘Jurassic World‘ hits the $1 billion mark in the international territories alone and thus raises its global cumulative to a whopping $1.65 billion. In the domestic market, ‘War Room‘ took first place.
