Tove Lo, whose RIAA triple-platinum worldwide hit single “Habits (Stay High)” hit #1 on the Pop Airplay and iTunes Alternative charts, premieres the video for her new single “Timebomb” today. The Emil Nava directed clip is an emotional explosion of love, passion, and pain, illustrated by an array of couples set against the stark beauty of a desolate beach. Watch the video above.
For this video Tove has created a campaign website (www.weareatimebomb.com), inspired by the 2009 Chatroulette phenomena, where fans can watch the video with a complete stranger. Tove Lo will be checking in on the site sporadically giving fans the unique chance to watch the video with her.
“Timebomb” sets the stage for Tove Lo’s Queen of the Clouds Tour this Fall. The North American headline run, opens September 28th at North Park Theatre in San Diego. The 16-city tour, will wrap up October 21st with a night at Terminal 5 in New York City. Tickets for all shows go up for sale June 26th, and will be available at www.tove-lo.com.
