“Kobe Bryant’s Muse” Premieres On Showtime

KOBE BRYANT’S MUSE is set to premiere on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME.  The anticipated, feature-length documentary includes intimate and exclusive footage in the aftermath of Bryant’s recent shoulder injury which ended his 2014-2015 season with the Los Angeles Lakers.  Compelling and revelatory, KOBE BRYANT’S MUSE captures Bryant like viewers have never seen him before.

On Thursday night, SHOWTIME® hosted a star-studded premiere event for the documentary at The London Hotel in West Hollywood. Creator, executive producer and star Kobe Bryant was in attendance, as well as MUSE director Gotham Chopra, RAY DONOVAN co-star Pooch Hall, Andy Garcia, Rick Fox, Deepak Chopra, Christian Louboutin, Genevieve Morton, Anne Sweeney, Jeanie Buss, Jim Hill and more.
 
Additional VIP attendees included President of Showtime Networks David Nevins and  Executive Vice President, General Manager of Showtime Sports and Event Programming Stephen Espinoza.
 
Guests were treated to an intimate cocktail reception before enjoying the world-premiere screening of KOBE BRYANT’S MUSE in The London Hotel’s state-of-the-art theater.
 
Bryant, an 18-year veteran and 17-time NBA All-Star, has earned five NBA Championships during his time in the league. At this critical juncture in his career, viewers will watch as Bryant attempts to cement his legacy, opening a window into the mind of an elite athlete still motivated to be the best, but also contemplating life after sports.
 
The film is directed by Gotham Chopra and is executive produced by Kobe Bryant and Gotham Chopra in association with Mamba Media.
