Women of Rock Set Out To Sea

A Grammy Chapter Stage has been added to enhance the experience of the Grammy Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock, a four-day music festival at sea which will set sail Nov. 4 – 8, 2014, in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Line — the official cruise line of The Recording Academy and the Grammy Awards — and produced by Sixthman, the industry leader in music festivals at sea. The Grammy Chapter Stage will spotlight emerging and established talent from each of The Recording Academy's 12 Chapter cities around the country, as well as feature panel discussions and workshops with participating artists and other music professionals. Previously announced artists for the Grammy Festival at Sea include Mindi Abair, Shawn Colvin, Estelle, SkylarGrey, EmmylouHarris, Heart, Indigo Girls, and Joan Osborne. Sailing from Miami aboard the beautiful Norwegian Pearl, this inaugural Grammy Festival at Sea will offer guests the opportunity to celebrate Grammy-winning and/or -nominated women who rock, while sailing to Grand Bahama Island and Nassau, Bahamas.

Selected by The Academy's Chapters to represent their respective regions, artists on the Grammy Chapter Stage highlight a wealth of musically diverse styles, and reflect the "women who rock" theme. The Chapter Stage lineup includes:
