To celebrate International Waffle Day, which took place on March 25th, Eggo is challenging families to get crafty in the kitchen and show their love for waffles by entering the 2014 Eggo™ Your Way Contest. From snacks to desserts, waffle fans can submit their unique waffle-based recipes beginning March 31st on the Eggo Facebook page for a chance to win $10,000.
Eggo fans can enter the Eggo™ Your Way contest from March 31 to May 26, 2014 by submitting original waffle recipes through the Facebook page, in the categories of breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner or dessert. Entries are open to U.S. residents and each submission will be judged on originality, taste appeal and visual appeal as depicted in the entry photo. In addition to the $10,000 grand prize, two finalists will each receive $2,500, and eight weekly winners will receive a year’s supply of Eggo waffles.
Adding to waffle celebrations this spring, Eggo willcelebrate “Waffle Wednesdays” in April by partnering with four “Chief Waffle Officers” for original recipes and recipe inspiration. The “Chief Waffle Officers” original recipes and cooking adventures will be featured on Eggo’s Facebook page throughout the month.
