From August 27th to September 6th, 2014, Jaeger-LeCoultre will play an active part in the key moments of the 71st Venice International Film Festival, including this year the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award to James Franco.
During the Opening Ceremony and Premiere of “Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance” on August 27th, 2014, Canadian actress Sarah Gadon and Chinese actress Zhao Wei chose to wear Jaeger-LeCoultre High Jewellery timepieces.
From September 4th to September 14th, 2014, Jaeger-LeCoultre will also celebrate the best of International and Canadian cinema at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival, as a first time sponsor of the festival, including its support to the 2014 TIFF Rising Stars, an initiative that immerses four up-and-coming Canada’s actors in a series of public events and private industry meetings in order to be mentored in the different facets of the industry.
