The 68th Tony Awards started off with a bounce… literally. Four-time host, Hugh Jackman hopped and bounced his way from the red carpet and onto the Radio City Music Hall stage, where he weaved through all of the nominees; from the cast of Cabaret, to Aladdin, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and more. Throughout the evening, nominee performances lit up the stage. Hedwig and the Angry Inch starring Neil Patrick Harris was a favorite of the night. The show won four Tonys, including Best Musical Revival. Winning most awkward and out-of-place performance of the evening was certainly Hugh Jackman’s (aka Biggie Tap Shoes) rapping attempt alongside LL Cool J and T.I. Best that the producers stick to musicals and plays when it comes to the TOny Awards.
