It was expected; Sony/Screen Gems’ “Think Like A Man” sequel, “Think Like A Man Too” hit big in its opening weekend at the box office. The first film made impressive numbers when it premiered in 2012, with $33 million. With a $24 million budget, the second comedy installment made $30 million; bumping “22 Jump Street” out of the #1 spot.
According to Rentrak, families around the world have made Fox’s “How To Train Your Dragon 2” a global and international hit adding another fire-breathing $43.5 million in 53 international territories for a combined worldwide total to date of over half a billion dollars. Disney’s “Maleficent” also notably crosses the $500 millionthreshold at the global box office.
