In TV News: The Michael J. Fox Show may have been pulled from the NBC schedule last Wednesday, but not to worry, its star found a familiar home on CBS’s The Good Wife. Michael J. Fox will reprise his role as Louis Canning, who is a foil to Julianna Margulies’s Alicia Frolick, in multiple episodes at the end of the season.
Fans of the show Psych or psych-os as they’re referred to as, are mourning the loss of their favorite show after it was announced the show will be hanging up its pineapple after the eighth and current season. The last episode will air on March 26th on USA Network, with an hour-long live special to follow.
In Film News: Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard are spouting their “thou’s” and “thy’s” right now in Scotland, where filming has begun on a new adaptation of the Shakespearean classic, Macbeth. Fassbender plays the title role and Cotillard plays Lady Macbeth. No word on whether or not it’s also bad luck to say the name of the play on the film set.
With his starring turn in Pompeii, which will open in two weeks (February 21st), Kit Harrington of Game of Thrones fame has already lined up another lead role. Harrington will be starring in Testament of Youth, based on the autobiography of Vera Brittain and set during the First World War.
