“Crazy” singer and The Voice judge, CeeLo Green is setting up shop on the famous Las Vegas Strip with a residency at the legendary Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Never accused of being a wallflower, CeeLo made quite the entrance.
The Grammy Award-winning artist made his way to the casino after stopping traffic on the Strip by riding on a flatbed truck with a flaming piano surrounded by dancing showgirls, with the sound of CeeLo's hits like, "Bright Lights," and "Forget You" blaring in the background. Fans and onlookers lined Las Vegas Boulevard to welcome CeeLo as Planet Hollywood's new, highly-anticipated resident artist, who opened his truly unique, brand new show, "CeeLo Green is LOBERACE," this week.
Upon arrival at Planet Hollywood, CeeLo was greeted by Jubilee! showgirls from Bally's Las Vegas, who lined the red carpeted front steps leading up to CeeLo's new home. David Hoenemeyer, regional president of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, officially welcomed CeeLo by having the star cement his handprints, which will be displayed on the property alongside the handprints of other iconic celebrities.
