Last month, J.J. Abrams released a trailer for an untitled project simply dubbed ‘Stranger’. A bit prematurely, I rushed to post the trailer in LATF’s TV section. The production quality was too good to be anything short of a new TV series from director, producer, writing extraordinaire J.J. “Star Trek” Abrams. Sadly, I report today that I was duped.
According to EW, the initial teaser, along with the follow-up trailer below, is part of the marketing campaign for Abram’s authorial debut: “S“. The book is actually written by Doug Dorst, but conceived by Abrams.
It will be released on Oct. 29.
