He’s becoming a legend in the air. Swiss daredevil, Yves Rossy took flight above Wisconsin in his custom-built jet suit alongside a B-17 bomber. The “Jetman” propels himself through the sky at 190 mph, controlling his jet suit with a throttle in his hand. He can shoot up as high as 12,000 feet. This Rossy’s first public flights in the United States. The AirVenture runs through August 4th and Rossy will appear at the Reno Air Races in September. So why is the Jetman hitting the air? He hopes to inspire people with his flight.
