EA SPORTS™, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA®) and the National Hockey League (NHL®) announced today that the ‘NHL®14′ Cover Vote Final will pit goaltender against goaltender as three-time Stanley Cup®winner Martin Brodeur takes on 2013 Vezina Trophy Finalist Sergei Bobrovsky.
The winner will become the first goalie to appear on the cover since John Vanbiesbrouck in ‘NHL’97’, the first year where the EA SPORTS NHL franchise cover featured a single cover athlete. The ‘NHL 14’ Cover Athlete will be revealed during the 2013 Stanley Cup® Final. Voting for this round is now live and fans can vote an unlimited number of times at NHL.com/CoverVote, until the round closes on June 2 at 11:59pm ET.
