Nancy Cartwright Hosts Happy House’s 8th Annual “Funraiser”

You know Nancy Cartwright as the voice of the spiky-headed Bart Simpson! Well, Nancy is also the grand host of Happy House’s 8^th annual poker “Funraiser” and barbeque, which will take place at her home on June 1^st.  

This family-friendly event benefits the non-profit Happy House, which Ms. Cartwright founded to help children through the Good Choices Program.   Grade and middle school kids using the How to Make Good Choices booklet learn common sense principals such as: Set a Good Example and Treat Others the Way You Would Like to be Treated.   The program has met with success at Boys and Girls Clubs, PALS and in public community centers.

The fun begins at 1:30 on June 1^st when families will begin arriving to play Bingo, listen to live music by the Saint Tones, fly down the water slide, create personal arts and crafts, challenge themselves at the ping pong table or, for the adults who like to test their wits and skills, shuffle up and deal poker around the pool.
