More proof that country music is sizzling more than ever right now. The Academy of Country Music and ZinePak is selling better than ever. In its first week on the shelves, the 2013 ACM ‘ZinePak moved 15,305 units, reached #2 on the Compilation Albums Chart, nabbed the #11 spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart, came in at #38 on the Billboard Top 200 and was the 10th highest debuting album this week overall. It also hit #6 on the Independent Albums Chart. Pretty impressive considering the ACM ‘ZinePak is available at only one retail outlet – Walmart – where it was the store’s #3 best-selling new release and #9 best-selling new release at mass merchants across the board.
This is the third partnership between the ACM and ‘ZinePak. It is the perfect complement to this weekend’s LIVE broadcast of the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday April 7, 2013 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
