Black smoke means no Pope, white smoke means a vote has been made. The 115 cardinal electors have entered the Sistine chapel where they swear an oath of secrecy. Once the doors are closed, the world will watch the chimney for a smoke sign of Black or White; telling us when the next Pope has been elected.
