With the long weekend and football parties, it’s time to make those chip dips that make all your friends want to come back for more! They haven’t dipped until they’ve tried hamburger cheese dip! It’s easy to make and can sit out in a crock put to keep warm. Serve with nacho chips.
Here’s a recipe courtesy of Recipe4Living.com:
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 lb. Velveeta, cubed
1/2 sm. can green chilies
1 dash garlic powder
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
Directions
In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain off the fat. Add the garlic powder and taco seasoning with 1/2 C. of water. Mix well and pour into a small crock pot. Mix in the tomato sauce and the cubed Velveeta. Stir occasionally until cheese is melted. Add the green chilies. Leave to simmer on low. Dip away!
