The legendary decks of the Queen Mary will once again be filled with extraordinary festivities and celebration on New Year’s Eve 2012. The glamour years of the world’s grandest ocean liner are revisited with a red carpet entry to an evening of gourmet food, holiday-inspired drinks, open-air dance floors, live musical acts and culminating with a spectacular midnight fireworks show over the harbor. The Queen Mary features 80,000 square feet of event space in 17 remarkable Art Deco salons as well as a tri-level, 45,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall. The Queen Mary boasts 314 staterooms including nine full suites.
Guests on this magnificent ship can enjoy a “Farewell to 2012” dinner before strolling the decks to their own musical tune, whether sound of soul, disco, jazz, swing or top hits. Dance the night away to the 80’s tribute band The Disco Kings, watch dueling pianos compete or rock the ship with two DJ’s.
A variety of dining options are available to enjoy the year’s final feast, from an all-American classic meal at The Promenade Café or four-course gourmet dinner at Sir Winston’s, to an elegant buffet supper in the Grand Ballroom. Partygoers feeling especially festive can experience the life of royalty and style with the VIP Cabana Bottle Service Package which includes a private booth, bottle service, NYE party favors and full access to all of the ship’s onboard entertainment. Continue the celebration by booking the night at The Queen Mary Hotel and welcome 2013 with the top Champagne Brunch of the year.
