Documenting Sea Shepherd’s Quest To Save Sea Life

Here at LATF, we commend and admire anyone and any organization who reach out to save animals. For quite some time, we have been following the amazing work of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Captain Paul Watson. Now there is a film to show their lifelong fight to stop animal cruelty.

CONFESSIONS OF AN ECO-TERRORIST directed by Peter Brown, Sea Shepherd’s longest serving crewmember and first mate to Captain Paul Watson makes its Hawaiian Premiere this Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 7PM. The film has taken the world by storm with its realistic and humorous take on the eco-movement, focusing on “positive activism” and his 30+ years of behind the scenes and below the decks action of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The film has been sold and will (or has been) be released theatrically in most territories around the world.

The special event, hosted by Shepherd Hawaii, starts at 6PM and includes a preshow reception with Brown and other Sea Shepherd crewmembers like Deborah Bassett, star of Animal Planet’s hit special series VIKING SHORES, and actor/publicist Lon Haber. There will also be a silent auction and a musical performance by True Story.

Brown has also recently announced the launch of his breakthrough Internet TV channel, EZEARTH.TV to aid Sea Shepherd’s Cove Guardians in their fight to save dolphins in Taiji, Japan, the place made infamous by the Academy Award-Winning film THE COVE
