Just in time for the release of Assassin’s Creed III, Ubisoft has announced a partnership with New Regency. Together, the beloved video game saga will be adapted into a film; making this the biggest franchise for New Regency and Fox. Who will play the hooded hero? Michael Fassbender (X-Men, Prometheus, Shame).
The plot follows a man who discovers he is a descendant of trained assassins. He is kidnapped by an unknown person prior to the start of the game, and is brought to Abstergo Industries, where researchers are working on the Animus project; which pull out memories from ancestors of the user, allowing them to replay those memories as if he were there himself. And the battle begins…
