TUMBLEDOWN, a romantic comedy starring Jason Sudeikis and Rose Byrne, will go before the cameras this October in Vancouver, B.C, it was announced by producers Kristin Hahn of Indigo Films and Aaron L. Gilbert and Margot Hand of Bron Studios. Olivia Munn, Joe Manganiello, Blythe Danner, Michael McKean and Beau Bridges will also star. Tumbledown is directed by Sean Mewshaw from an original screenplay by Desi Van Til.
In TUMBLEDOWN, a young widow (Byrne) falls for a brash New York writer (Sudeikis) who barrels into her rural Maine town to investigate the death of her husband, a folk-music hero.
Mewshaw and Van Til are making their feature directing and screenwriting debuts. Their previous collaboration, the short film Last Night based on a James Salter story, starred Frances McDormand and premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
