Justin Timberlake is going back into the studio. Given how unbelievably famous both he and his songs are, it’s hard to believe that Timberlake has actually only produced two studio albums in the past decade. After much teasing and insinuating, however, the superstar confirmed on twitter today that he is indeed ready to drop another record saying, “To whom it may concern . . . I think I’m READY!” This will be his first pass at a record since he released “FutureSex/LoveSounds” in 2006. To heighten the already sky-high hype about his new music venture, the pop/hip-hop singer released a video describing how much love he puts into each song and how after a lot of soul searching, he’s finally ready to get back at it.
“I’m the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it. As close as I get to it, I don’t know that I can physically torture myself year in and year out and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does… I don’t want to put anything out that I think is something I don’t love,” Timberlake said of his creative process in the video. “You just don’t get that everyday, you have to wait for it.” Well, it seems both he and fans have waited long enough.
