This is the second time this month someone has been pushed to their death in front of an oncoming Subway train. The first victim, 58-year-old Ki-Suck Han, was thrown onto the tracks by Naeem Davis in early December. When the New York Post published a photo of the man seconds before his death on the front page, it caused an uproar. Now NY detectives are searching or a female suspect who fled after a man was fatally pushed in front of a train on an elevated platform in Queens.
At 8:04 p.m. on Thursday an unidentified man was standing on the northbound platform at 40th Street and Queens Boulevard, waiting for the No. 7 train. Witnesses told police that a woman was pacing on the platform, talking to herself. As the train approached, she pushed the man. She then ran out of the station onto Queens Boulevard. The woman was described as wearing a blue, white and gray ski jacket, and gray and red Nike sneakers.
Another tragedy in the Subway. Perhaps the public transportation system should think about hiring more security?
