The 78th Festival de Cannes is set to captivate the global film community from May 13 to 24, 2025, in Cannes, France. Esteemed French actress Juliette Binoche will preside over the main competition jury, marking 40 years since her inaugural appearance at the festival.
The festival will commence with the French comedy “Bye Bye,” directed by Amélie Bonnin. An Honorary Palme d’Or will be presented to Robert De Niro during the opening ceremony, celebrating his significant contributions to cinema. With a lineup that includes both seasoned auteurs and emerging talents, the 2025 Cannes Film Festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of cinematic artistry.
