Snow Day For Valentine’s Day Weekend In Big Bear

Snow arrived in Big Bear just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Snow and romance go hand in hand in Big Bear Lake, and the resort town is prepping for an ardent atmosphere ideal for a romantic getaway for couples. In addition to the snow-covered mountains that resemble a sugar-coated treat, the first 100 couples that walk through the Big Bear Visitors Center’s doors on Friday, February 14 get a complimentary Valentine’s Day gift-bag filled with sweetheart goodies. Each gift bag contains locally hand-crafted chocolates, a fresh-cut carnation, a keepsake plush bear, and a club card that offers discounts to various Big Bear restaurants, shops, and attractions.

“The fresh snow we’re expecting this week should provide a serene winter backdrop that’ll set the perfect tone for romance,” said Visit Big Bear CEO Travis Scott. “The free Valentine’s Day gift-bags are the icing on the cake!”

Moreover, there are several festive happenings around town to add an extra spark for that special day together.
