On Saturday, December 14th, the Simin Hope Foundation will join forces with the Los Angeles Police Department for their annual holiday tradition of the Winter Wonderland & Toy Giveaway.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the day of holiday festivities provides the gift of joy and presents to children and families in need.
Taking place at Harvard Park from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, activities include:
- Three-lane snow slide
- Petting zoo featuring live reindeer
- Arts and crafts station
- Santa’s grand sleigh arrival in LAPD style
- Free toys for every child
Attendees will also enjoy live music, food, photo opportunities and more.

Inspired by the philanthropic efforts of entrepreneur and philanthropist, Simin Hashemizadeh, the annual Winter Wonderland & Toy Giveaway is a long-standing partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and Council District 8, who share a commitment to creating safer, stronger communities. The Simin Hope Foundation aims to give back to disadvantaged communities. Hosting annual holiday toy giveaways for the past decade, from Compton to North Hollywood, SHF works in association with the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Los Angeles Police Department Community Safety Partnership (CSP) program at Harvard Park, which launched in 2017, exemplifies relationship-based policing, fostering trust and collaboration between residents and officers.
