We said goodbye to boxing legend, Hector “Macho” Camacho this past Saturday November 24th, 2012. Camacho was shot in the neck by a passing vehicle while in a parking lot in Bayamon, Puerto Rican. He was 50 years-old.
Throughout his career, the ex-boxer fought professionally for three decades, winning several world titles and fighting against some of the biggest boxing stars, including Sugar Ray Leonard, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya and Roberto Duran.
“He excited boxing fans around the world with his inimitable style,” promoter Don King said to the Associated Press.
